Ragdoll Cats

The Ragdoll cat breed consists of a variety of medium to long hair cats. Ragdoll cats are famous for their placid temperaments as well as their affectionate nature. Ragdolls are the most easy going and gentle cat you can own. These cats are not aggressive and should only be kept indoors. They do not have fighting instincts so they will not defend themselves when provoked. The term "Ragdoll" comes from the way they go totally limp when picked up. The breed originated in California back in the 1960s. The first Ragdoll was a cat named Josephine. There are many myths regarding the history of Ragdoll cats; for instance, one account claims Ragdoll cats were left on earth by an alien race. Many of these wild claims were made by the breed's founder and are still passed around today.

Rag doll cats are selectively breeding for certain characteristics. This selective features include size, characteristics of limpness pick up, and their easy-going nature. The breed was created from Berman, Persian mix, Myanmar cat. The dolls have been imitating other varieties of species, such as the ragamuffin, but many of these competing species is not recognized as the registration is no difference between the cat, the cat from their dolls.

Cat dolls come in patterns and colors. Targeted mode is divided into three categories: mitted, bicolor, and colorpoint. Lilac varieties of colors, seal, blue and chocolate. In addition, there are some colors such as red and lynx point of non-standard products. A typical doll takes 2 years to fully mature, adult males 15-20 pounds body weight. Ragdolls are the perfect indoor cat, but that is it - they are not chasing mice or other things that cats should be done regularly. But this does not mean they do not like the smell of fresh air time to time, but be careful not to let them outside without supervision rather helpless typical environment - they may be missing, it is easy to be stolen (they really love strange people, especially smelly), was hit by a car or, worse, scare the crap out of your dog.

They learn very fast how should and should not do; but this does not mean they always do what they need - they know this is wrong, but continue to do so. Cat doll can easily be used to traveling, or wearing a collar, especially if the idea from a young age.

Ragdolls may be the most sociable cat. They attached great importance to their owners and the general public, usually enjoy the company of other cats. Of course, there are exceptions (my cat is one of them - she really hates all non-human species.) As for the real cats Ragdolls families and children to enjoy the benefits, just not the kind of torture they kept

Young cat dolls are usually quite active, while the old is very good-tempered, calm partner. Usually Ragdolls want to take throw toys, like a man hide and seek and tag with your game portfolio. They are always happy when you spend some time playing with them. Ragdolls often answer their soft low voice called. Express their voice is very, sometimes you think they answer you.
