The Cat in the Hat is the central character from the Dr. Seuss books, he also serves as the company logo, appearing on many Seuss emblems, etc. Cat in the Hat also narrated many of the Seuss cartoons and starred in a few. He is often remarked as Seuss' most well known and famous character.

Cat also was the star in the television show, The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss a show about all of the Dr. Seuss character as puppets made by the Jim Henson Company. A movie about The Cat in the Hat was also made in November of 2003. The Cat in the Hat appeared in Seussical the Musical played by David Shiner. He sang A Day of the Cat in the Hat after Here on Who from Seussical the Musical. In the beginging of Act 1 the Cat and Seuss characters sang Oh the Thinks you can Think!
